Hand massage

    We are interested in training volunteers to do hand massage.  I am looking for policies and CBOs for hand massage volunteers.

    I know Jean Moran had this program in place at her hospital, Union of Cecil County in MD.  I do not know who (if anyone) took her place since her retirement.  I hope someone replied with this information for you.  I do not know of any other hospital having this program in place.

    I know several of you have started doing hand massages with patients. We perform hand massages for our cancer patients at the Cancer Center, but are starting a separate service area for those interested in hand massages on inpatients. Does anyone have a service description they would share? We are trialing this on one of our floors and it is awesome!
