Are any of you currently selling CBD Oils in your hospital Gift Shops?  If so, what vendor are you using and did you have any issues getting permission from your hospital to sell it in the Gift Shops?

    Cindy,

We are not because there is a CBD oil store on every corner of our city.  They sprung up overnight and are as plentiful as Starbucks.

Interesting you should bring this up, because I just turned away my first volunteer who failed the drug screen and said it was because of CBD oil.  Of course CBD from a reputable company would never cause a positive THC result.  But as we have been warned by our drug screening company, buying it off the street, or from Joe's cousin might not be the same thing.

It is the hot fad of the moment, for sure.

Our hospital is also advising against selling CBD products. Our pharmacy director comments, “Based on the current legal gray area of CBD both federally and in our state (SC), as well as the gray area in medical literature, I think it is not a good idea to sell CBD in any hospital setting.”

Thank you to all that have responded.  Our Employee Health and Sr. Leaders feel it is not advisable to sell as well.  We appreciate your feedback!
