I am trying to come up with ideas that I can use for my goals for next year. Other than hours and number of volunteers, does anyone else have something they do that can be "counted" in metrics?

    I am at a loss!

    Anything would be helpful!
    Thanks,

    Nancy Rogers

Nancy, I have to track several stats:

Avg. hours served monthly per active volunteer; target : 17 Hrs or >

(this is not necessarily accurate as it includes those on LOA in the avg)

Value wage for hours served; target min $58,000 / mo

turnover rate; target monthly below 2.92% to achieve annual below 35%

    # vol who served for month; target based on hx data

net gain of volunteers; target to achieve net gain of xyz by year end (currently @ 12) key is the NET....(college students effect # greatly)

patient escort transport call volume - trend for volumes

number of patient visits by ambassadors both on inpatient floors and maternity.

    Hi Carol,

These are some great ideas - how did you arrive at the turnover rate goal #?
