Since we  still can't have  large gatherings, does anyone have any creative ideas of how to  recognize our volunteers  for the Holidays? I'm thinking  of having a drive by to handout treat bags. What are your ideas?

We are also struggling to come up with ideas. Our health system prohibits us from buying gift cards for volunteers, and the Auxiliary has so little gift shop income from this year they aren't interested in paying for that either. Right now, all we're doing is Christmas/holiday cards. It feels so little though.

What are you putting in treat bags? And are you located in a warm climate? We're in KY, and planning anything remotely outdoors in December is tricky (could be 60 and sunny or 20 and snow).

I'm in Midlothian, VA outside of Richmond.  The drive by is not a definite but it looks like a strong possibility. We are thinking of having our  volunteers drive up to the entrance of our medical building on a Sunday afternoon when  there is no activity. Staff would stay  inside until a car drove up and then we would hand them a goody bag.  We are having a staff meeting today to decide how we  might celebrate our  volunteers so once I finalize, I'll post it.

    Thanks

I'm planning a drive thru event - gifts, leadership and associates lining the pathway with signs and pompoms, etc.

It will be in Mid-November, which is usually when our holiday luncheon is.
