Certification for Directors of Volunteer Services (CDVS) is open to members who are interested in reaching and maintaining greater educational competence and a higher level of professional standards.

Eligibility: Be a member of SHVL for a minimum of two years and have attended one SHVL in person conference prior to applying along with three years' experience as a Leader of volunteer Services in a healthcare facility.
