Hospice volunteering is very new to my orbit. 

It has been brought to my attention that CMS Medicare requires supervisor visits for the home hospice volunteers. 

What is not clear is  how often this supervisory visit with the volunteer is required and who the supervisor needs to be?  (volunteer coordinator; chief nursing officer @ hospice???)

I appreciate any feedback from anyone with hospice expertise./  thank you
