We have had our therapy pet teams coming back in since late 2020 for associate visits only. They are so happy to be back and the staff loves it. What we've done is to pick a day and invite as many teams in that are available and placed them in conference rooms or different areas of the hospital. We let the departments know when they will be here and where they are and then staff can leave their departments for enough time to unwind and get some pet affection. It has been so successful for both the teams and the associates. We are currently looking at even expanding the number of visits.
