I purchased a badge/button maker from Amazon (make sure it is a 2.5 inch maker). You may know someone who already has one. When you order the maker it leads you to the supplies needed to make the buttons. The maker and supplies to make over 300 was less than $150. I have our staff send a headshot of themselves smiling and I used the Avery 2.5 inch circle label template to place the photos in. Then just print, cut with circle punch (listed on photo) and then put together with maker. The staff and patients really are enjoying it. I called it "The Smile Behind the Mask".
