For those of you with paid gift shop staff and an auxiliary, who pays the salaries for your gift shop staff - the auxiliary or your hospital?
We have volunteers who staff the gift shop, but a paid manager who does the buying. The manager is paid by the hospital.
My Auxiliary pays the staff of our gift shops. They pay part-time associates directly. The full-time managers are paid by the hospital so that they get benefits, but the hospital is reimbursed by the Auxiliary.
We have volunteers who staff the gift shop as well. The manager and our three employees are paid by the hospital.
My Auxiliary pays both salaries and benefits for our Gift Shop and Thrift Store staff.
