Coffee Cart

I'm looking to purchase a new cart as we are getting a mobile POS so staff can do payroll deduction and visitors can use a credit card when our coffee cart circulates.

Our current cart is pretty bulky and has been fabricated by our maintenance department.

Does anyone have a vendor they have used to buy carts from?

We have a beverage cart our volunteers take around! I've

attached the image. It is solid and not too bulky, there is

storage underneath with a lock and key. I believe it was

    purchased online at

How do you have your payroll deduction set up so that your cart can be on the move and employees still take advantage of this feature? We have payroll deduction but the machines have to be plugged into a hard-wired internet connection and not wifi. We use API machines.

Tell me more about your volunteers running a coffee cart through the facility!   Can you send me your service description please?

We piloted a coffee cart for nursing staff a few years ago, but weren't comfortable with volunteers handling cash on the go. I'm very interested to hear more about the capacity to do this wirelessly via payroll deduction!

Thank you all for your replies.

Our POS in the gift shop is Quickcharge. We requested this year for a mobile register that would have backup battery and operates from wifi. We have a mini version of this for our auxiliary sales that we use a laptop and do payroll deduction on.

This mobile register looks just like a cash drawer, receipt printer, credit card machine and orbit scanner for payroll deduction. I'll submit a photo once the unit is fully set up on the cart. The battery back up just needs to be charged nightly and since the register has a locked cash drawer that can only be opened by the register we feel this is safer than a cash bag they are now using.

Our inventory for the cart comes from our gift shop so we will be able to carry many options on the cart (magazines, word puzzles, pens, badge reels, etc). Our coffee cart is such a huge part of our volunteer department but has been slowly dying with no one carrying cash any more. We thought this could be a win win for our volunteers, the patients, families and the employee to offer all forms of payment.
