Our ED volunteers round in the daily under the supervision of the charge nurse. They assist by keeping an orderly waiting room by informing patients when they are next in line to be seen.  I can send you a copy of the service description. arlettecunningham@yahoo.com  

Hey! We have volunteers do the below in our ED. 

* Walk families from the waiting room to their ED room

* provide activities for children in the waiting room

* clean toys for child life

* restock blanket warmers

* check on patients who are boarding and provide toiletries and activities

* wipe down chairs in the waiting room when its slow
