We do not currently have the most effecient process for eGreetings. One of my colleagues that attended the SHVL conference shared hearing that one organization's vendor was able set up eGreetings to print directly to a designated printer as people requested them. I was wanting to see if any of you all do something like this and the details of what vendor you use?

We have to manually review and print these each morning via our current process. Any alternative methods that you all are using would be greatly appreciated :). Thanks in advance!

We do egreetings for patients.  Our outside vendor who creates web pages, etc. for our facility was able to set up the ecard system.  The cards are designated to go to the in box of two employed individuals, the DVS and customer service should the DVS be out.  Notification in the in box identifies "ecard".  I open the card and print it on fancy stationary (from Paper Direct), address the envelope to the patient and go to the information desk for room number.  The volunteers deliver to the patient as they do transport runs.  If the patient has been discharged the patient financial folks look up the mailing address, address the envelope and place it in the outgoing US mail.  Unfortunately, this is not exceptionally efficeint either as the system has been down for approximately as year due to web redesign.
