I have a potential volunteer with many limitations including being a non reader.  If you have successful placements would you please share ideas.  Thanks

    Robin,

What are his other limitations?  If he doesn't have many physical limitations, I have placed volunteers in the Environmental Services department doing grounds cleanup and in the Cafeteria busing.

I have had wheelchair bound volunteers put charts/paperwork together and also the dietary department has used them to roll/bag silverware for the patient trays.  The problem is those jobs can sometimes be very boring and not what the vol. had it mind.  I have one very high functional one who does data entry or enters volunteer hours. What about answering phones in a waiting room?
