I do Teddy Bear tours for kindergarteners. Each child brings Teddy bear (or some type plush toy)
We begin in lobby where they begin pretending they are doc or nurse. They each get to wash hands and wear a mask. We go to a room where they doctor there animals. We have stescopes where they can listen to each others hearts, bandages for animals, and discuss jobs in the hospital (somewhat) get some interesting comments. Sometimes we do blood pressures (if equipment avaliable) though teachers and aids really have to help with this one.
They ride out to there bus in wheelchairs (which they love)
recieve a coloring book and crayons. I don't tour them around the hospital.
