We currently provide a Cafeteria meal ticket (value $7.50 after 20% discount...which means the true value is over $9.00 at visitor prices) to a volunteer for every shift they volunteer. For those who must leave after their shift is over, they have the option of getting a meal to go. We do ask that they use the ticket to purchase a similar size meal they would eat at home that time of day and not purchase extras (Little Debbie's, donuts, chips, etc.) to take home for later.
A small group of volunteers have become somewhat demanding in the Cafeteria asking for things that are not served on that particular day, complaining about the food choices, asking to be served "just a few minutes" before the cafeteria opens since most of the food is already out, etc.
Most are very appreciative and realize this is a perk that not all volunteer groups get....can anyone share if they do or do not provide meals and if so, the value of the meal?
Thanks!
