I would like to encourage all directors/managers to complete the certification process this year.  As a DVS of over 15 years, I will admit, I was nervous about the prospect of NOT passing the exam, but decided to finally GO FOR IT! The requested packet and exam were very comprehensive, but also realistic in what to expect.  I did not "study" for the exam, but relied on my own experience and knowledge in answering the questions. I thank SDVSHO for offering this certification, and for doing so in such an easy and affordable way, and feel a great sense of accomplishment to now be a certified DVS.  We are fortunate to have such a great resource as SDVSHO, and each of it's members, to continue to grow professionally.  Thanks to Susan Rima and the Certification Committee for all the work you put into making certification attainable to all of us.  Ready...set...now GO FOR IT!
