We are in the process of implementing a teen volunteer program. Can any of you offer a guideline for me to follow? Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I am certainly willing to share my info...feel free to contact me :)  We have a summer teen program which is broken into 3 - 3 week sessions.  We have between 80 - 120 teen volunteers each summer.

Teens who participate in my summer program are then allowed to volunteer during the school year.  Other than that, the only other teens we take during the school year are those allowed out of school during school hours to volunteer.

We have a summer teen program as well as a program during the school year.  So what we really have is three terms and each requires 48 hours of service.  During the school year, teens come in one afternoon a week from 4-7.  During the summer the teens come in for a full day (8hours) for six weeks.

We have usually about 20 teens each session during the school year and over 100 in the summer.

There are deadlines to get on the mailing list for materials, etc.
