Hi Nancy!

In the past, we have placed them on nursing units and let them assist with the following tasks:

·         Clean and fill patient charts

·         Stock gloves/other items as directed

·         Obtain VIP document signatures

·         Copying

·         Clear documents off of printer

·         Answer Phones

·         Assist secretary

·         Answers call lights

·         Transport patient outside in wheelchair for discharge

·         Fill water pictures

·         Discharge Patients

·         Clean and sanitize phones and keyboards

This year, we are moving to an abbreviated summer program model that is based more around education for the students and service projects. For example, we will have one day that is split between intro to CPR and planting plants/flowers to give to patients in the hospital.
