I have a volunteer who does not work and lives on income from the government.  She volunteers two days a week and uses the bus for transportation. She is very reliable and a good volunteer.  She let me know this morning that she will not be able to volunteer one of her days next week because she will be out of money to take the bus.   My first thought was to provide her with a bus pass to make it in for her volunteer shift next week, but then thought better of it, thinking this could be a very slippery slope.  Does anyone have any experience with this, or does anyone supply any of their volunteers with any type of transportation?
