We drug test all of our new volunteers, and are an at will/for cause testing by HR for any employee, volunteer, or contract employee.

This does include our teen volunteers, with a signed parental permission slip that is sent to the teen the day before our drug screening.  By HR rule, you must test within 48 hours of notification or you can't volunteer or you will be dismissed.  You will be surprised at how many teens don't pass the drug screenings.  Bad choices seem to start earlier than ever these days.

Also if you are a nicotine free campus, how do you know if you don't drug screen?

Similarly to Cindy, we also drug screen all our Volunteers, Juniors included.  Likewise on the background screenings, as juvenile records are sealed.
