Just curious to see if any of you have brought back Jr. Volunteers? If so, where are you placing them? Thank you!

We have always been able to have volunteers aged 15-59 continue volunteering during COVID.   March 13 - September 28 could not have anyone aged 60+ volunteering. Junior Volunteers have been assisting in their normal capacity of wayfinding, information desk, patient discharges (ONLY non-COVID) and the MANY errands/deliveries throughout the hospital (labs, blood bank, pharmacy, medical records, mail, flowers, newspapers, patient belongings/food since visitors are so restricted, etc). We no NOT have a summer-only program, we have opportunities for Jr Vols daily, but since COVID and the loss of some department staff, we are still not open on weekends.

We stopped the junior program from happening last summer because they were considered "carriers" of COVID.  I have not had juniors or students since that time and will probably not have them this year.  Things would have to really improve.
