They try not to change the gift shop over until after Halloween - keeping some kind of tradition for Thanksgiving, but, also competing with mega shops available in the area who already have Christmas decor popping up.  A 25% off sale is generally heald in December for approx 3 weeks prior to Christmas as Inventory is done Januaray 1.  In the past there has been a silent auction for a Christmas quilt wall hanging which draws many lookers who may or may not purchase.  We do have someone new making up holiday bags of candy charging 75 cents per bag.  Not a huge money maker, but is going well and bringing traffic.
