Do any shops offer a loyalty program or rewards card program? If you do, how does it work? Thanks for your input.

We offer a "Frequent Shopper" Card for our customers.   They receive a stamp each time they shop and spend $10.    When they have 10 stamps on their card, they receive a 20% discount on one item.

We do a similar program for our Thrift Shop but since the Thrift Shop inventory is free, they receive $10 in free merchandise with 10 stamps on their card.

Thanks Joy for taking time to respond to my question. Sounds like your program is working well. I hope to start one in the next month or two.

We do a loyalty program called Perks.  For every $200.00 the customer spends, we give them a $10.00 perk certificate to spend in the store.  It is good for 90 days.  We have our register programmed so that the credit will print once they have reached that $200.00 level.

We sign the employee up with their employee number.  It is free, doesn't expire and they can pay anyway they like.  A Win Win!
