    Gift Shop limit is $200.

No limit on fundraiser payroll deductions (but I do "counsel" those who want to make large purchases.

Limit in Gift Shop is $200.00 maximum with the ability to override.  The override is at discretion of DVS and Manager only.

Limit for fund raisers is 6 payperiods.

    Hope this helps

Our limit is $300 for full time employees and $150 for part time employees. This stands for gift shop purchases and fundraisers.

No set limits.  All deductions come out of next check, so employees pretty careful 're amount of debt they incur.  This is true for gift shop, vending & special sales- all from next check.

I don't manage the gift shop, but I know we don't have a limit there.  I was however just told that we are no longer going to be able to do payroll deduct for fundraisers b/c IRS regulations.  It has something to do with those who make minimum wage and bringing them below that.  I'm sure it is going to hurt our sales!

Our hospital has a $300 max.  This includes gift shop and fundraisers.  The individual has the ability to spread over 4 pay periods if he or she chooses.

Jamie,I checked with our payroll manager after reading your comment re: the IRS regs. on minimum wage affecting your ability to offer payroll deduction at fund raising sales.  He tells me payroll deduction for "optional" purchases such as those an employee would make at the gift shop or at a fund raising sale are looked at differently than any kind of "mandatory" payroll deduction that may come from an employee's paycheck.  The employee has the free choice to make the purchase or not, and chooses how to pay for it.I would be curious to hear why your folks are interpreting this differently.Jan
